A Little "Snag"
I must begin by telling you about a little snag in this project! The jacket had been sewn (but not finished). We were in the midst of having our home on the market. I can't tell you how many times I said, "Hurry girls, the showing is in 1 hour." In the midst of these hurried clean-ups, my jacket pattern went missing. Now what was I to do? Without the pattern, I couldn't sew the lining.
As I played with the fabric, I decided that this lovely linen fabric could still be worn, as it hung quite nicely, without a lining. So, that was my little snag, but we overcame it.

The Basic Jacket
The Proper Fit of the Basic Jacket
I have to add, that although the Basic Jacket isn't perfect, it's still pretty good, and I'm looking forward to wearing it with the complete color coordinated wardrobe.
I hope this helps you get a few ideas on your own endeavors!
