#1 Save using ebates to earn cash back
Use Ebates (now called Rakuten) when shopping online, plus when you sign-up, you get $10. You can add them to your google chrome bar, and click to shop through their site (it leads to the major retailers), and you earn cash back each time you shop.
#2 Save by buying used gift cards
You could buy groceries online at Walmart (via Ebates to access your cash back), plus you could use a gift card that you bought at a discount. Raise.com is now offering $10 off your first giftcard purchase. Cardpool.com is a giftcard exchange where you can buy at a discount.
#3 Save on your clothes
Sign-up for Rue La La and get up to 70% off brand name clothes. Better yet, shop for vintage Simplicity sewing patterns on Etsy and save a lot of money - sew your own clothes.
#4 Save on Groceries
You can use Instacart to shop for groceries online and have them delivered to your door. I like Aldi prices (or sale prices at other stores). Plus, meal plan for economy. Check out my $35 Meal Plan or subscribe to receive the next meal plan in your inbox.
#5 Save by shopping sales only
Comparison shop and get sale prices. Buy after major holidays and clearances. If there is a store you love, sign up for emails, to know when thier best prices are. I prefer to shop for unique items from small businesses on Etsy (also, Ebay, Amazon, Craigslist, etc.) You can see our Spring Arrivals at Total Home Makeover. Get free shipping if you can (btw, ours is free sitewide).
